Cinco de Drinko is a vibrant celebration on May 5, 2024 from 1-6pm, presented by Social Guides and a true l.o.v.e story., taking place at inkwell. This free event promises to be a fiesta like no other, celebrating the spirit of Cinco de Mayo with a twist!

What is Cinco de Drinko? This free-entry celebration is a bartender competition where various mixologists and cocktail enthusiasts enter to win a $500 cash prize. The event will take place at inkwell, 1125 Hamilton St. Storefront, Allentown PA 18101. Make sure you RSVP for the event, use the map online for directions, check-in at the door with your name, and have fun!

Qaza Nazeer, the Founder and CEO of Social Guides, has always carried a passion for mixology competitions. Yet, he wanted to add a twist inspiring Cinco de Drinko on May 5, 2024, Cinco de Mayo!

The CEO continued, “This event will serve as a live case study for a feature I plan to develop on the Social Guides app.” The feature is designed to assist businesses in boosting their revenue and enhancing bartender visibility, ultimately enabling them to earn more and secure event bookings.

inkwell in Lehigh Valley is a nonprofit organization that supports writers through workshops and author events. It's not primarily an event venue; instead, it's focused on fostering a literary community and providing resources for writers.

The goal is a turnout of 100-125 attendees; there are approximately 25 people already RSVPed.

What to Expect

The event begins at 1 p.m. and lasts until 6 p.m. There are currently 4 bartenders signed up to compete, and about 4-5 more are expected to join.

Event t-shirts will be available for purchase at the event on a first-come, first-served basis. These exclusive shirts have been designed in collaboration with A l.o.v.e story and inkwell.

Besides the great competition and drinks, there will be tacos and rice along with chips paired with various dips. Everyone is encouraged to RSVP for this free event so there is enough food and drinks for everyone. Not having enough refreshments wouldn't be fun for anyone!
